Team Collaboration
Stop sharing your screen. Share the canvas.
A desktop is one screen, one pointer. On Novastart everyone has a cursor, and every window is live.
Two machines
One canvas. Both cursors work.
Maya and Tom agree a launch budget from two machines. Each app runs on one of them and streams live to the other.
Two screens show the same shared canvas. Each person's cursor appears in their colour. Tom moves a window while Maya edits it and both changes land. Tom clicks into a window that runs on Maya's machine, streamed live. Maya hides a window and Tom sees a placeholder. Maya's agent appears on Tom's screen labelled Maya (AI). Maya switches to another canvas with its own people.
A cursor each.
Every teammate's pointer moves on your screen, in the colour they chose.
Tom clicks into Maya's window.
Her machine runs it. Tom reaches in and types from his.
Agents in view.
Maya's agent shows up on Tom's screen as a cursor labelled Maya (AI).
Screen share or canvas
Watch a video, or click in.
Screen sharing shows one person's screen, with control handed over one at a time. On the canvas, everyone works at once.
Two short films play side by side. On a screen share, your launch sheet sits inside a red sharing frame while three teammates watch as small tiles. Tom raises a hand and asks for control, you hand it over, your pointer greys out, and Tom's remote pointer types one number while you wait. On the canvas you, Tom and Ana each have a cursor in your own window. Tom clicks into your sheet and types a number while you type another one and Ana drags the roadmap beside the plan, and all three changes land. The films then start over.

Live windows
Maya's window. Your keyboard.
On a desktop a window answers to one keyboard. Maya's sheet stays on hers, shows on yours, and takes your typing.
An interactive scene with two small screens. On the left, Maya's machine runs a launch sheet; her blue cursor moves between cells. On the right, your screen shows the same window streamed live with a Shared by Maya chip. Click a cell on your screen and type: the text appears in the cell and, a moment later, in the same cell on Maya's machine; your pointer shows on her screen as an orange cursor labelled You. Drag the window on your screen and it moves on hers. Hide from team replaces the window on your screen with a placeholder that reads Maya hid this window. Lock in place stops the window being dragged.
- No screen-share button. Her window streams to you. Your clicks go straight into it.
- Hide or lock. One click shows the team a placeholder. Another stops anyone dragging it.
- Open the real file.Docs and images up to 100 MB are mirrored to the team.
Same room? Two mice on one PC work too.
No turns
Two drags, two windows. Both land.
Each of you works on your own machine and the board agrees on one result. Lose the connection and your moves wait, then merge.
An interactive board with three windows: your launch sheet, your roadmap and Tom's plan, which his orange cursor drags to a new spot every few seconds. Drag your windows anywhere. A Connection switch takes you offline: a dashed red border appears, Tom's window and cursor freeze, and a counter shows how many of your moves are waiting. Switch back on and Tom's window slides to where it really is while a Merged stamp appears. Undo my last move puts your last window back without touching Tom's.
Undo stays yours. It never touches Tom's work.
Share and trust
Private until you share it.
Pick a board, send an invite, and they see it, apps and all. The rest of your work stays put.
- 01
Pick one board.
One canvas, or one folder to share every canvas inside it.
- 02
Invite by email.
Type their address. Two roles: Owner and Editor.
- 03
Everything comes along.
Every app at its spot, every label, every file. They see nothing else.
- Do I have to share my screen?
- No. Nothing to present. Teammates click and type in your windows.
- Can they see my other canvases?
- No. They see only the canvas or folder you shared.
- Two of us change the same window?
- Both survive. Move it while Tom changes its URL, and a CRDT keeps both.
- Is it safe?
- Only members can listen, only editors can write. Streams go machine to machine.
