AI Agents
Watch your AI agents work.
Each agent gets its own cursor in plain sight and never touches yours. No black box, no guessing.
Three examples
Three jobs, start to finish.
Build trust with your agents by watching them work, and gain leverage from a team that runs while you do.
A user asks one agent to plan a ski trip. The agent drafts a plan with one task per helper, opens a window for each part of the trip in a tidy grid beside the user's own notes, and names and colours a helper for each part, one per window. The user types a correction mid-run and the agents adjust without restarting. Pause freezes all of them. The helpers report back to the lead, the lead adds it up in a sheet, and a separate check looks at a fresh screenshot before the job is marked done.
Four hotel pages are open. The user asks which of them have availability for October 8 to 13. The agent sends four helpers, one per hotel page, each with its own cursor. They report back: three are sold out or partial, The Linden has a room at 210 dollars a night. The agent asks whether to book it. The user says yes. The agent's cursor opens the booking page, fills in the guest name and confirms, a confirmation number appears, and a separate check reads a fresh screenshot before the job is marked done.
The user asks one agent to find fitness creators for a supplement launch and draft outreach emails. Three helpers scan Instagram, TikTok and YouTube while a sheet of creators fills in row by row. The lead drafts the emails in Gmail and asks whether to send the top three. The user says yes, the lead sends three and leaves two as drafts, and a separate check reads a fresh screenshot before the job is marked done.
How it works
Its own seat, in plain sight.
A normal computer has one pointer, so an agent takes yours or works out of sight. On Novastart every agent gets its own seat, and you watch.
- 01
Give it the job.
Type what you want. One agent owns it and writes a plan you can edit.
- 02
It recruits helpers.
One task each, one helper per window, in the lead's colour. Up to 10.
- 03
Watch every click.
Its cursor, its rings, its typing. Pause, steer or take a window back.
- 04
Done means checked.
A separate check reads a fresh screenshot before it counts.
Two short films play side by side. You give an agent one job: book the cabin. On a normal desktop the agent takes the only pointer, your cursor greys out, a page of cabins lands on top of your budget sheet and you wait on a spinner. On the canvas the agent's green cursor, labelled AI, opens the cabins page beside your sheet, rings spread from each click, and your own black cursor keeps typing in the sheet. Two helpers join on the canvas, each in a window of its own in a tidy row, while the desktop stacks two more windows on the pile. The films then start over.
- A normal desktopThe canvas
- One mouse. The agent takes it.Its own mouse. Yours stays yours.
- Its windows land on yours. Its windows land beside yours.
- You watch a spinner. You watch it click and type.
- One cursor, no label.A coloured cursor labelled AI.
- You wait until it finishes. You carry on with your work.
- 1 cursor, and the agent has it4 cursors, yours still yours
- 3 windows dropped on your work0 windows covered
- 14 tabs across the agent's windows0 tabs, one page per window
Seats
Sixteen agents, a seat each.
A seat is a mouse and keyboard inside the compositor. Add an agent and a new cursor drops into a new window.
An interactive board. Three agents work to begin with, each a coloured cursor labelled AI moving inside a window of its own: a document, a search page and a page of cabins. Add an agent drops a new one into the next window in the row, up to sixteen, and the view zooms out to fit them all. Remove one takes the last away. A counter reads the number of agents.
Each click and key chord lands whole, so agents never collide.
Stay in charge
Pause, steer, or take it back.
An agent you can see is an agent you can stop. Try each control on this run, then wait for the check.
An interactive scene. A sheet of cabins sits on the canvas with a blue ring around it and an AI tag; a blue cursor labelled AI types a price into each row in turn, rings spreading from each click. Three controls sit beside it. Pause freezes the cursor mid-click and a Paused pill appears; Resume lets it go on. Take back drops the ring, parks the agent's cursor outside the sheet and puts your own cursor in the window; Hand back returns it. Typing a note, for example Do November instead, makes the agent switch to the other column without starting over. When a run ends a Checked stamp appears with a small screenshot.
- PauseIt freezes mid-click, team and all.
- Take backClick once. The agent lets go and parks.
- SteerType a note. It adjusts without restarting.
Agents keep your preferences, survive a reboot, and log every run.
Modes and questions
Four modes. Four straight answers.
Pick how much an agent does, from a quick answer to a whole job. Then the questions people ask first.
- Agent
Acts. Clicks and types in your apps until done.
- Plan
Drafts steps you edit first. Each ticks off live.
- Ask
Answers from a screenshot. Never clicks.
- Observe
Watches your window, suggests work. One click delegates.
- Do I have to babysit it?
- No. Look in when you like, and it can ask you a question.
- What if it clicks the wrong thing?
- You see it happen. A plain click makes the window yours again.
- Does it work in my apps?
- Yes, through the real UI. It can also arrange windows, launch apps, open URLs.
- What does it run on?
- OpenAI's computer-use models, with your own OpenAI API key.
Build your own agent with the Open Virtual Input SDK, in Python, JavaScript or Rust.
